I Basics
What is TextJoTT?
TextJoTT™ is a private, text-first thought and memory service.
JoTT something worth remembering about a person, place, thing or moment. Find it later using what you remember.
Core principle: You don’t need a contact to have a memory.
LISTEN → CONNECT → JoTT → REMEMBER → RECONNECT
LISTEN → 💭 → JoTT → JoTTed. → ASK → RECALL → REMEMBER
JoTT remembers so you can remember. JoTTed. is the save; Remember is yours.
What can I JoTT?
Details about people, places, things, and moments that you want to remember later.
What’s different about TextJoTT?
You don’t have to remember where you put something. You only have to remember enough to ask.
Do I need the person’s contact information?
No. You don’t need a contact to have a memory.
Can I add JoTT to a group text?
No. JoTT is personal. Keep it one-to-one — don’t add JoTT to a group text. Text JoTT privately.
Who is JoTT for?
Anyone who meets a lot of people and cares about showing up again having listened — and anyone who wants a private place for what mattered. Relationships aren’t a category.
What’s the brand promise?
Remember the person.
Do I need an app?
No. Text messaging and a secure web console. No traditional mobile app download is required.
II Notes · CRM
Why use JoTT if an assistant can remember and act?
ChatGPT and other assistants can remember context and perform supported tasks. TextJoTT™ has a focused job: capture what you choose to remember and help you find it later. Save JoTT as a contact. No separate app download needed. Privacy · Export and tools
Does connecting an assistant give it all my personal information?
Access depends on the accounts you connect and the permissions you grant. Review those permissions. Sharing a JoTT export is a separate choice; review the file and share only what the task needs. Privacy · Export and tools
Can I share an export with an assistant or Google Keep?
Text EXPORT for a copy of all or selected JoTTs in Markdown, CSV, or JSON. A compatible receiving tool may organize or act on the information you share, subject to its capabilities and permissions. Export is a one-way copy, not a native integration or ongoing sync. Privacy · Export and tools
Is JoTT safe for every generation?
JoTT keeps the experience simple: save a contact, text what matters, and ask later. Use it within the current age and consent requirements. No service can guarantee absolute security. SMS providers process messages to deliver them; see the Privacy Policy for safeguards and limits. Privacy · Export and tools
Does JoTT sell my memories?
We do not sell your JoTTs. You choose what to send and what to share through export. The Privacy Policy explains service-provider processing, retention, and your controls. Privacy · Export and tools
Why not use Notes?
Notes store information. TextJoTT focuses on recall. You shouldn’t have to remember which note, folder, title, tag, or organization system you used.
You shouldn’t have to organize a memory before you’re allowed to forget it.
Optional: text EXPORT for a portable Markdown, CSV, or JSON file in the thread. Keep it or move it into Notes, Notion, Obsidian, Drive, or your own archive. Export is a one-way copy, not an integration or sync. Integrations
Is TextJoTT a CRM?
TextJoTT is not a CRM. You don’t need a contact to have a memory.
Why not Meta or Google?
Security alone isn’t the reason. Meta and Google build platforms. TextJoTT™ is a private, text-first thought and memory service. One job: JoTT what matters, ask for it later.
Not a CRM. Not a general AI. It works alongside the tools you already use. Intentional capture only. Your memories aren’t sold, aren’t ads, and aren’t a shared graph.
Is TextJoTT a contact manager or social network?
No. TextJoTT is not a traditional contact manager or a social network. It is designed for intentional memory capture and contextual recall.
Is TextJoTT a traditional notes application?
No. Notes applications are built around storage and organization. TextJoTT is built around recall — JoTT what matters, then ask using whatever you remember.
III Beta & Core
What does “beta” mean?
JoTT is early. Capture and recall already work. You’re helping prove the habit before a wider launch. Rough edges are welcome — that’s why Core exists.
What is the Core cohort?
CORE is the first group using JoTT in the wild. You try the product, leave feedback, and help shape what ships next. Founding 50 seats are CORE-001 → CORE-050.
Where do I use JoTT?
Text 831-777-JOTT from your phone or use the secure web console. Your CORE ID connects both experiences to the same private black book.
How do I join?
Phone and consent on the homepage. No email. No password. You’ll get a CORE ID and a welcome text from 831-777-JOTT. Text messaging and the secure web console are both live. Use either one—or move between them.
I’m already in Core — how do I get back in?
Sign in with your CORE ID (CORE-NNN), text 831-777-JOTT, or go straight to /console.
What is feedback?
When something confuses you, breaks, or should work differently — tell us in the console, or text FEEDBACK / BUG / IDEA to JoTT. Your notes guide the next build.
Do I need an app?
No. Text 831-777-JOTT from your phone’s Messages app, or use the secure web console. No app download required.
Do you need my email?
No. Phone and consent only. Your CORE ID is how you sign back in.
What is a CORE ID?
Your public identity in Core — like CORE-017. Never recycled. Use it to open the console. JoTT ID is reserved for individual saved memories (coming later).
Can I invite someone?
Yes. After you join, the console has a share / invite path. Word of mouth is how Core grows.
IV Founding 50
What is the Founding 50?
The first private beta cohort: fifty seats, CORE-001 → CORE-050, assigned in completed signup order. Seats are limited and first come, first served for invited people. Private invites stay open until all fifty seats are assigned, then they close.
What is a JoTT?
One memory action: one save, one recall, or one correction. After a conversation, you JoTT what mattered. When you reconnect, you ask it back.
What are you asking Founding 50 members to do?
Reach a total of 50 — that number includes JoTTs (saved memories), bug reports, reactions (Tapback / ❤️), and any feedback you take time to send (FB · BUG · IDEA · UX · LOVE). After five toward your 50, we’ll show how to send feedback if something feels off. Keep the invitation private unless asked to share. Experience JoTT first — no weekly checklist.
What does success look like?
Saving feels natural. Replies are clear. People can JoTT something quickly, find it later, and trust the memory.
What does Founding 50 membership include?
Founding 50 gets 50% off any paid textjott™ membership for life while your account stays active. Cancel anytime. Resubscribe anytime for the lifetime 50% discount as long as it’s the same phone number registered for Founding 50. You also keep your permanent CORE ID, early access, Founding member recognition, and a direct voice in the roadmap. Black Friday: no credit card until after February 1, 2027 (ask date depends on your signup day).
What is live now?
SMS capture and recall, secure web-console access, CORE ID accounts and corrections are live. Screenshots (MMS) and voice notes are beta — confirm before save; see feature status. Your membership is identified by your private CORE-###. No name or email required to create your account.
What is the timeline?
Founding 50 private beta is open now. Private invites stay open until all fifty seats are assigned. Public try remains 30 free JoTTs. Black Friday: the 30 free JoTTs meter and monthly plans start January 1, 2027. No credit card until then. Founding 50: no credit card until after February 1, 2027 (ask date depends on signup). Dates move with the product — status lives on feature-status.
How do I join Founding 50?
Save the TextJoTT™ contact, text HI, then reply AGREE when JoTT asks. No app, no password, no name form. Private invites are at /invite.
Should I forward my invite?
No. This is a private invitation. Please do not forward unless you are asked to.
V How it works
How do I capture something?
Text 831-777-JOTT what mattered about a person — or type it in the secure web console. Ask later when you need it back.
What should I JoTT?
Whatever you’d write on the back of a business card: family names, trips, preferences, where you met, what to ask next time. You decide what deserves remembering.
How do I recall something?
Ask naturally — “What did I JoTT about Sarah?” or “Who was going to Spain?” Names fade; context sticks.
What if I get the wrong person?
Say so — “Wrong Sarah” — and correct it. Matching improves with feedback.
Can I send screenshots?
Beta. Yes over MMS to 831-777-JOTT — JoTT reads the image and asks you to confirm before saving. If reading fails, text SCREENSHOT: Name — details. Status: feature-status.
Can I use voice?
Beta. Voice notes over MMS work when speech-to-text is enabled. You can always text VOICE: … what you want remembered. Intentional capture only — not always-on listening. Status: feature-status.
Will this work from my phone’s Messages app?
Yes. Text 831-777-JOTT to save a memory, recall a detail or correct a mix-up. No app download required.
Why shouldn’t JoTT listen to every conversation?
That would undermine the premise. Deciding what to JoTT is part of the relationship. Intentional capture only.
What’s the JoTT ritual?
LISTEN → CONNECT → JoTT → REMEMBER → RECONNECT. Be present. Notice what matters. Record afterward. Remember — the person stays with you. Continue the relationship.
Product interaction underneath: LISTEN → 💭 → JoTT → JoTTed. → ASK → RECALL → REMEMBER. JoTTed. is the save; Remember is the human outcome. JoTT remembers so you can remember.
Personal and professional?
Both. Neighbors and customers. Coaches and candidates. Your relationships belong to you — not a bucket.
VI Privacy & trust
Is my data private?
Yes. Your JoTTs are private. You control them. Export or delete anytime. They aren’t sold for advertising. Privacy
Is JoTT recording my conversations?
No. You choose what to send. We don’t listen to calls or scrape chats in the background.
Do you sell my data?
No. Subscription is the business model. Relationship memories are not advertising inventory.
Can my employer see my JoTTs?
Connecting a work account does not automatically give your employer access to personal JoTTs. Personal and business memory stay separable by design.
Can I export or delete everything?
Yes. Text EXPORT to get a portable Markdown, CSV, or JSON file in the JoTT thread (download link). Keep a personal archive or transfer it. Export does not delete your JoTTs. Console export may be available through support when enabled. Beta data is not guaranteed to be permanently retained — export what you need to keep. Privacy
Can I move my JoTTs into Notes, Notion, Obsidian, Drive, or another app?
Possibly. If the destination accepts the file format you exported, you may import or store it there. Import behavior is controlled by that service. Exporting a file does not mean TextJoTT has a native integration, partnership, or ongoing sync with that app.
Does exporting remove my JoTTs from JoTT?
No. Exporting creates a copy. Export and deletion are separate actions.
What if I accidentally send something sensitive?
Don’t send passwords, financial data, medical records, or other highly sensitive information. If something’s wrong, tell us in feedback and delete. Privacy
How do you protect the TEXTJOTT™ and jott.™ names?
Text Jott.™ (black leather + gold) is the primary marketing mark. jott.™ is the secondary compact seal (SMS/contact avatar). TEXTJOTT™ / TextJoTT™ is the company and service word mark (federal application pending — Serial 50118948; use ™ only, never ® until registration). “JoTTed.” is the branded completion state. Logo/design, jott. wording, TEXTJOTT word mark, and product mechanics have different protection scopes — we do not claim the entire primary logo is covered by existing filings. © 2026 textjott™. All rights reserved.
VII Product & vision
What’s the long-term product?
Don’t download another app. Text JoTT. Capture after conversations. Recall when you reconnect. Quiet tech underneath; human connection on the surface.
Will JoTT sync to my contacts?
Contact synchronization is a future direction unless feature status says otherwise. JoTT does not need contact sync for capture and recall — and it does not replace Apple / Google / Outlook contacts.
Will there be reminders?
Beta. When reminders are marked available, you can text “Remind me…” after a JoTT. Follow-ups can live in the console timeline alongside your memories. Confirm current status on feature status — do not treat reminders as a universal promise.
What’s the timeline?
Your black book in order — each JoTT dated and linked to the person. Open the console after you capture; Capture → Timeline → Reminders.
What can JoTT actually do?
Save memories by text or console, find them later when you ask, set reminders (beta), use screenshot and voice (beta), and control your account (privacy / export / delete). Not an open chat — the text thread is the product. Channel truth: feature-status.
Does JoTT work if I forget the name?
That’s the killer experience. Ask by detail — “Who did I meet whose daughter was applying to Stanford?” — and JoTT brings back what you JoTTed. You remember enough to ask; JoTT recalls what mattered.
Is JoTT available internationally?
Beta is starting with the Core cohort and US SMS number 831-777-JOTT. Console works in the browser wherever you are.
Is my phone number my JoTT account?
Yes. Your mobile number is your JoTT account across SMS, WhatsApp, and the console. Keep the same number when you travel (Wi‑Fi calling or a plan that keeps your home E.164). A new local or travel eSIM number opens a new empty book — JoTTs on the old number stay there. Before you delete a travel SIM, text EXPORT from that number, or open the console with your CORE-###. Lost access after a number change? Email support@textjott.com with your CORE ID and both numbers — we can remount.
Who built this?
TextJoTT™ · Eden, Utah. Read the origin chapter or About · support@textjott.com
Where can I see the story?
The book, homepage film, Mrs. Coy reel, and the About page. Strategy boards live in the Core console.

No. Strictly no advertising of thought and memory.
